Nous nous attachons \u00e0 identifier les esp\u00e8ces de c\u00e9tac\u00e9s pr\u00e9sentes, \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer si les populations sont r\u00e9sidentes ou migratrices et \u00e0 comprendre comment ces esp\u00e8ces utilisent l'habitat tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La collecte de donn\u00e9es est effectu\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide de m\u00e9thodes scientifiques non invasives, principalement la photo-identification. Des images de haute qualit\u00e9 des nageoires dorsales, des nageoires caudales et des marques naturelles distinctives nous permettent de reconna\u00eetre les animaux individuels au fil des rencontres. Cela permet d'analyser la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 au site, les sch\u00e9mas de d\u00e9placement, la structure sociale et la dynamique de la population \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des observations r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es contribuent au d\u00e9veloppement progressif d'un catalogue d'identification structur\u00e9. Les clients participent \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le d'\u00e9cotourisme marin responsable o\u00f9 le tourisme soutient la science et la science soutient la conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette approche, chaque rencontre en mer contribue \u00e0 une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de l'\u00e9cologie des c\u00e9tac\u00e9s dans diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions et destinations futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au Wise Whale Project, la recherche n'est pas un ajout \u00e0 notre travail, elle en est le fondement. En combinant la science de terrain, l'observation responsable des baleines et l'engagement du public, nous visons \u00e0 transformer chaque voyage en une contribution significative \u00e0 la connaissance du milieu marin.
